Buttermilk and Twine

Brandon & Daniel, 2 grandsons just gave Papa a drink of buttermilk. We're pretty sure he liked it. :)

Brandon also just found loads of twine in the garage and they have an assignment for all of you: think of all the ways you've seen papa use twine and post them.

- recently he used as a leash it to take Cary Ann's son, Henry for a walk in San Diego. :)
- Oma says he made a swing out of it one time.
-Opa would make a tail for his kite with it.

  1. This must have been something in the genes of the Dutch! Annie VB shares the story of how she knotted twine together and used it as a rock carrier to carry rocks out mountains to put rocks in her garden in Dinuba!
