Greetings from Cousin Ken (Bootsma) in Lafayette, IN

I REMEMBER THE DAYS:
when one summer I drove from Bellflower to work with my cousin Pete on Uncle Hank and Aunt    Carrie's dairy in El Monte (by the airport), building corrals.  "What a trip!"

when I met Gerrit at a family Christmas gathering, and of course, we sang, and sang, and sang!

when I was asked to play for Gerrit and Anna Mae's wedding - the first one I ever played for, on a
Hammond organ, in the El Monte Reformed Church!  Wow!

and all the Bootsma gatherings, with so many good Van Dam and Romberg voices, singing "all in one a chord!"  Huge!  Didn't Gerrit like to do solos?  Seems to me he always got at least one verse alone!
